Here are just a few reasons why: A woman over 50 will never wake you in the middle of the night & ask, 'What are you thinking?' She doesn't care what you think. If a woman over 50 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She goes and does something, she wants to do, & it's usually more interesting. Women over 50 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you, if they think they can get away with it. Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what it's like to be unappreciated. Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 50. Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 50 is far sexier than her younger counterpart. Older women are forthright and honest.. They'll tell you right off if you are a jerk or if you are acting like one. You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her. Yes, we praise women over 50 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed, hot woman over 50, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress. Ladies, I apologize. For all those men who say, 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?' Here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage!" Andy Rooney is a really smart guy! Send this to fine, fun, fabulous, fancy-free female friends over 50. Something to see:  Her eyes are beautiful.  Most babies measuring 5 ft would be considered big, but newborn giraffe, Margaret, at Chester Zoo,  UK is seen as unusually small for her species.  She is one of the smallest giraffes ever born at Chester Zoo, but pint-sized Margaret will soon be an animal to look up to.  Little Margaret, who is the first female Rothschild giraffe born at the zoo, is being hand-reared by her dedicated keepers.  The first calf  for six-year-old mum Fay, Margaret, who was born two weeks early, tipped the scales at just 34 kilos (75 lbs) and is a  mere 5 ft tall. Tim Rowland's, team leader of the Giraffes section, said: 'Margaret is one of the smallest giraffe calves we have ever seen.  Fay isn't the largest of giraffes and Margaret was also early which might go some way to explaining her size.  'Margaret was having difficulty suckling so our keeping team are now hand-rearing her.   Her  Keeper is hiding her milk bottle... Found  it!! More  please ......... Ummmmmmmm... That was yummy ... Thank you for my bottle What a beautiful and gentle little soul, just look at those incredible eyes.

US Travels for December 19, 2011

US Travels

It was the Red-eye out of Honolulu to Chicago for the first leg then a
short flight to St Louis, Missouri. Waiting there where the friendly
folks that had stored the Goat mobile on their gentleman farm over the
past 3 months. Leaving the airport we have the husband driving with 2
women, major babbling brooks here, husband misses the turnoff, so we
do a quick tour of St Louis before heading in the right direction.

Down the road it is where women number 2 has parked her truck the night before.
Arriving we find the truck missing but what we do find is 10 signs
telling us that any vehicle left in this particular lot will be towed,
$80.00 later she is a happy camper.

At the farm of sorts the Goatmobile is readied for the trip north the
next day to pickup a new camper in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Before leaving
I have No. 1 wife asking me if I am superstitious in any way or form
and this questioning goes on for the next 10 minutes without a clue as
to what she is talking about.

WELL it seems that the black cat, which I had asked about earlier, had
crawled up inside the engine to sleep. Husband had gone out and
started up the truck, the next thing he heard was a loud thump, then
smaller thumps. Shutting off the truck he opens the hood and we find
the black cat well wrapped around the fan belt, dead of course.
Needless to say it was not a very pleasant job pulling the bits and
pieces out of the fan. How the cat could even stay there under the
hood when I had placed containers of mothballs all through the engine
block is beyond me.

Away at 0230hrs the next morning for a 5 hour drive north to pickup
the camper it was. Of course 3 hours into the drive we have a flat
tyre but fortunately for me it was right after getting gas and I had
moved the truck forward to the convenient store for a proper cuppa of
mom's favorite coffee. Later on I called the wife of the gentleman
farmer and the first words out her mouth was, "it's the black cat
curse"………..

Well the new camper is on the back of the truck, its comes with
everything imaginable and more. It even has a toilet and shower in the
same stall.
To me this space will not be used at all so we find me dirty clothes
bag, paper towels, cans of food and 10 boxes of red wine, and a very
much more functional use of critical space.
